When trying to schedule engagement sessions (or any outdoor portrait session, for that matter), it’s my typical practice in the winter months to ask my client to choose a backup date in case it rains.
For Tiffany and Wilson, we, unfortunately, were rained out on their first date of choice. But after some rearranging of our calendars (including Tiffany switching shifts in the midst of a hectic work week), we landed on an alternate date during the Bay Area storms and crossed our fingers for dry weather.
Thankfully, when we arrived in Tiburon for our shoot, we were greeted by a serendipitously rain-free Saturday evening, smack dab in the middle of two stormy days.
We started up the hill at Lyford's Tower and made our way along the coastline of Shoreline Park. The clouds were full, the sunset was glorious, and the San Francisco skyline glowed the perfect shade of orange. Given how the weather wasn't exactly working in our favor beforehand, it was obvious: our time spent in Tiburon was just meant to be. Just like Tiffany and Wilson themselves.
