Alfie and Jan are big fans of natural landscapes and architecture. And since they’ll be getting their architectural fix when they get married later this year at San Francisco City Hall, the couple decided on the town of Carmel-by-the-Sea for their engagement session. The two even went out of their way to visit the area to do some location scouting: sending me coordinates, photos, and videos of potential locations. Talk about dream clients, right?
Holly and Cody first met in the most awesome way possible: while having a few pints at The Davis Beer Shoppe. And when I met up with the couple to discuss photography for their upcoming wedding, we chatted over some daytime beers on a Friday afternoon. So when Holly and Cody arrived at Drake's Beach in Point Reyes for their engagement session, naturally Cody had a can of beer in hand.
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Tatiana and Charles. For the record, they know a thing or two about how fickle weather can be in San Francisco. The first time we met up at the Palace of Fine Arts for their engagement session, the rotunda was engulfed in fog. Thanks a lot, Karl! And for attempt number two, we were greeted with rain. The week leading up to the third scheduled date, the weather wasn't looking much better...
During the Fourth of July weekend, I met up with the Chang family for a family portrait session at Bodega Bay. For you readers who don't know, the "Chang Gang" is made up of 12 people -- four of which are young boys. So to be completely honest, leading up to the session I was a little anxious. Why, you ask? Well, I really wasn't quite sure what to expect!
Monica and Joaquin will be tying the knot this coming May. So this past Saturday, we ventured to Baker Beach in San Francisco to snap some photos to commemorate their engagement. They battled the chilly morning air, and Monica trekked barefoot through the cold, wet sand. From there, we hopped over the Bay Bridge and finished up with some urban looks in Emeryville. Yup, we went from the beach to the streets.
